Can I upload an old website to a new domain

Hi

I recently had my website redesigned and I dont really like it - what I had before was better.

What I'm wondering is can I go back to a back up of the old site on Hostgator and have it uploaded to a new domain that I now have?

    That's a good question for hostgator... If they have such a backup, then yes, you can. Or if you have made a backup before redesigning.

    So, I would start by asking them - because here nobody could possibly know the answer.

    Hi Mary, ask your previous web designer if he has a backup of the last one you had. If not then ask the company who did your website if they created a backup before putting in the new one.

    Many professional web designers either freelancer or via company often backup everything before they begin work and back it up again before uploading the new design.

    Try contacting either party and see if they can help you.

    I think without Backup of previous coding it is not possible to get your design back ,you need same coding which had before.

    You just need to contact your previous developer/designer and ask them to hand you over again the necessary files for your site.
