WordPress theme code - Duplicate content?

I wonder if it can hurt my website if I'm using on it the same Wordpress theme like many other people online. I'm using the LightBright premium WP theme from elegantthemes.com and when I check my website on copyscape.com it finds duplicate content on many websites that are using the same WP theme like me.

Copyscape finds the following: share on delicious dig this post share on stumbleupon share on squidoo share on yahoo buzz share on blinklist share on mixx share on furl

Can this hurt my website? Should I use a custom unique WP theme for my website?

  • No it won't hurt your site using a free theme. If that were the
case there would be 100's of thousands of blog owners weeping
in the streets... it would be carnage

  • No problem, would be a big problem for the internet and google.

If allowed you can go to your theme files, footer probably and remove that line, just for the aesthetic aspect.
  • OK, thank you for your replies.
