Hello Fellow Warriors,

Just finished up the look of my new site Shrinkd.it. I plan on adding a FAQ page in the future, but just looking for feedback right now on the look and function of the site. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

    I think it needs more...

    When I first came to the site I thought it loaded funny and hit the refresh button.

    Put more visuals on it.

    Try making the text a little bigger.

    Do something to make the page "pop" and grab peoples attention.

    Just my opinion.

    The same to above commentor, you need more attractive graphics. It's too plain like I walk along the Sahara which has no trees at all. Do add more images is the main point; furthermore, customize your typography abit will be better!

      I like the nice, clean design. I am not sure if it needs too much of jazzing up. I mean once you place all those ads down below, the place won't look so barren anymore.

      If you do add more design elements, keep it subtle. Maybe you could add a text graphic next to your logo/slogan ("shorter is better") -elaborating on the slogan. That way the visitor will know in a second what the site is about.

      But yes, play around with the typography, it definitely needs some work. The font size has to go up for sure, maybe even choose a darker color. Right now the text is really hard to read.

      Also, perhaps find another way to highlight the current link (Shorten/Browse). Right now a blue line ABOVE the link highlights the current page. To me it appeared as if there's a graphic stuck above the page that I couldn't get to.

      Lastly, consider having an "About" page, to lend credibility to the website. Personally, I wouldn't use a website to shorten my URL unless I was sure it was in safe hands.

    I am sorry to say I have to agree with the others that say it requires more. I think the font should be darker and there should certainly be more graphics.

    It is clean looking but I also feel you should have a few more pages - "about me"and a site agreement.

    What I mean by more visuals is, put your page on a paper background that has a shadow behind it.

    Break up your text, you have 3 sections of text. Put each section on its own 3d paper so the sections look like its popping off the page.

    You can look at my page to see what I mean about the shadow behind the paper.

    I think the idea of doing it minimal and clean is good, but I would put more emphasis in the logo. It's like the input box section grabs a lot of attention and when you first visit the site, you don't know exactly what it is about.
