Anything Jquery won't work....

Hi guys,

I've been messing with some Jquery plugins recently and none seem to work at all. I'm guessing it may have something to do with my theme (cloriato). I'm looking for a good image gallery or fancy box that works with a picture gallery.

Every Jquery wordpress plugin ive downloaded claims to be incredibly easy and claims to work right after you upload and activate, yet non of them work in the least bit. It's like i'm missing some coding somewhere in my custom.js or somewhere that effects js or anything jquery.

Any thoughts?

    It's highly unlikely that all the plugins you've tried are bad or don't work. The diagnostic is too much to even try to answer here.
    Has your theme been messed with?
    What other plugins are you running? (many plugins DO NOT call scripts/assets correctly)
    You don't have javascript disabled in your browser, right?
    It wouldn't matter one bit if your theme didn't use javascript at all, a plugin can still use it, it's built right into wordpress.
    And just to clarify this statement.....

    You don't use jquery plugins in wordpress, only wordpress plugins in wordpress.
    Jquery HAS plugins that can be used in a wordpress plugin, not the other way around.

    You need to disable everything and try those plugins (wordpress plugins) with a default theme.
