Spam Post in WordPress site - How to Prevent?

Hello,

I have enabled registration option in my blog for my guest bloggers.But i get a lot of spam post from internet bots as the registration is enabled.

Can anyone help me how to prevent spam posting in WordPress?

I am getting annoyed by those spam posts.

Is there any plugin in WordPress which i can use? Right now i am using SABRE.
I am not sure whether it will work better or not.

WordPress › Search for approve registration « WordPress Plugins

Search and consider this, too, in addition to some captcha (or similar) solution...
Once the bots are filtered by the captcha - then for real humans you shouldn't have too many; most likely you'd be able to manually approve registrations.

Hi I can help you setting up security against spammy contents as a plugin developer myself.
Example: Disable directory browsing
I would combine Captcha services and some other plugins out there.
