There are tons of free themes you can download and use...just do a Google search to uncover them...

The free themes only require that you leave their links in the footer.

You can also search for themes within the admin area of wordpress...go to Appearance>Themes...then click the tab on the top marked Install enter a keyword or you can click the choices to sort your results.

Honestly there are a ton like dpwilliams mentioned. But if you're really concerned about quality you should really look for themes with solid frameworks. I personally use Genesis by Studio Press for regular WP sites. And I use WooCommerce (which has a couple great free themes) by WooCommerce. genesis cost money, and the fancy templates and extras with WooCommerce cost money, but to me it's worth it knowing that my clients sites are on solid ground. I also love Genesis because of how they organize their files. It's suuuper easy to modify different elements without breaking any code. Plus both Genesis and Woo have oodles of documentation and support.

Do a Google search for "Free Premium Wordpress Themes". This will produce the sites you are looking for.
