Good day,

I changed my DNS of one of my domain and the domain is not pointing the current DNS but when i check the whois information i discovered that the DNS has been changed. Please what do i do so the domain could point to the current DNS.

  • it takes up to 72 hours for dns to propagate. Wait.
  • Does this time depend a the domain registrar? because i changed two domains from two different registrar at the same time, one of them has successful changed and the other hasn't. Its been 2day now
  • I once had to wait a week with 1and1(dot)com so I switched to name cheap who is much faster. not sure if this is your issue but it helped me
  • Most hosts will tell you it could be 48-72 hours but I don't think I've ever seen it take that long, even !"$%^&* godaddy doesn't take that long and they are the molasses train.

I don't think I've ever waited more then 10 min in more then a decade.
2 days? I would double check everything.

    • True. Doesn't take more than 2-5 minutes.

      Try flushing your DNS cache.

      cmd type... ipconfig /flushdns
