What languages are Intranet webpage designing usually?

When companies, such as JCB, Coca cola, etc have intranet pages,
(internal company websites.)

a) then which languages are used for these usually ?

b) and which programs are used for these ?

c) and what are these languages improving too, as technology is progressing ?

    At my main job we primarily use asp, asp.net (with vb and c#), php, jsp, coldfusion amongst others and dreamweaver and visual studio for IDEs.

    A lot of major corporations are using SharePoint for their intranet needs. This is built on the .NET framework and uses web parts to build out pages. These companies can benefit from the collaborative features that the platform provides and can also afford its steep price tag for licensing, implementation and support.
