Comparison table plugins for wordpress?

Hi,

I'm in the process of creating an affiliate site (which I hope to grow into and authority site) but I was wondering if anybody could suggest some sort of plugin that could create comparison tables, perhaps comparing 2 products side by side, or even listing the pros and cons of a product, as well as a rating.

Any help would be much appreciated, James

  • This an be easily accomplised using css
    float one review to the left then the other will line up next to it.
    Or use a table with 2 cols

    Plugins are awesome but if something can be accomplished internally thats the way to go

      I'm quite new to creating sites so I'm not sure exactly how to do this, but I'll certainly look into it. I'm sure it can't be too hard :rolleyes:

  • This could be created by Custom Post Type with just your creativity, but it requires more work. You still could create it by using simple Html/Css codes as mentioned above.

    In addition, if you want more functions, you could use these plugins below (not affiliate with them):
    - WordPress Review Plugin for Affiliates - MyReviewPlugin
    - WP Review Engine

    But, both are commercial/premium paid plugins which seems a bit expensive. Alternatively, you could search at Wordpress Plugin Repository for "review", "comparing", or "rating" etc.

  • You can also try searching for 'pricing tables' in the plugins panel. Pretty sure there is a number of them that can fit your needs.

    • I've purchased this theme few months ago but when I installed it on one of my website and tested I found many errors and unfortunately most of the plugins that comes bundled with main theme is outdated and not compatible with current version of wordpress, I tried to contact their support but there were no response even after a week then I requested a refund VIA their payment gateway and finally I got the refund. (if someone needs proof of this theme purchase I can show just let me know by a PM)

      You'll be able to find many new premium themes (just look here on WF) that can be used to build a review site or a site with comparison tables and they are new and updated, also you'll get support.

    Just tried researching for other reviews for MyReviewPlugin and WP Review Engine online. Sadly, a lot of the users want a refund which is also a problem since none of the support teams for both products are 'supportive' enough. This can be frustrating since both products are really expensive. I wonder if anyone can give an actual experience on these or if they can be close to being good enough for any WP theme (with minimal problems I mean)?

    • Not sure if you found what you were looking for with that comparison chart wordpress theme but tablepress plugin could be a good place to start its what this site is using whiteningbodylotion.com similar concept to what your talking about i think.
  • I believe there is a plugin called tablepress that might help you. Before committing to either tables or floated divs do some research on how they behave differently. Tables are not as evil as many people think but you need to understand their disadvantages.
