I Badly Needed Your Opinion About my Blog Theme Please!

Hey. Good day Warriors.

My blog is live for more than 3 months now. I used a custom Genesis child theme and now I have a second thought whether my readers like it.

Well, I like it but I need your views. You might have different opinions from my close friends too.

Can you kindly review the theme I used on my blog? I am an open-minded person and I believe more heads and better than one.

    Your blog looks pretty good overall. I have a few suggestions.

    I would combine to two menus you have for main navigation. There is just too much going on in the way of menus. Get rid of that colorful bar thing that changes colors. It doesn’t seem to serve any good purpose.

    Remove the bread crumbs from the home page. If you are on the home page of a site there is no need for bread crumbs.

      Hi, first of all I followed you on Twitter and Like you on facebook, I hope you will accept my friend's request too (LOL).

      Anyway, thank you so much for the honest opinion - and I realized that you are right! I need to combine my menus - and I shall get rid of the breadcrumbs.... honestly I just searched what really it is and now I know!

    I would follow the suggestions listed above however I really do like the theme itself. Site loads fast, easy on the eyes, and easy to follow. Not sure why the average reader would be opposed to it lol.

      Hi there thank you so much for visiting my site... yes I will follow the suggestion above, as I carefully observe it the secondary menu is not good at all - I need to keep it clean and simple - and also the breadcrumbs I need to get rid of it

      Thank you, I am trying my best to post new and nice contents in a regular basis! I am really happy with you opinion - anyway I realized that I need to follow the first suggestion above to make it more professional!

      Hi thank you so much I just followed you on twitter! Yes I am building my email list tru providing free service for my subscribers instead of giving them some free report - I guess that would help them a lot.

      Your site really looks nice. Obviously, you put in quite a bit of effort.

      My opinion: Simple always works best. Do not detract from the content. Have may be just one banner in the sidebar.

    My other concern is your pop up opt-in form, I've been on your site for 3 minutes and I've had to close it 3 times... typically I sign up for newsletters when I like the content but if site keeps throwing it in my face, I get annoyed and leave... so maybe just pop up once when you get to the site.

      Yes I already merged my menu as suggested and re-categorized some of the topics on the menu - now it looks clean!

      Anyway - thank you for reminding me about the pop up - I will change it settings now! I need to consider your suggestion - it's straight to the point!
