I'm a blogger and use basic wordpress themes. Today, while updating my theme, looks like my website just crashed. I can't even log into my admin to do anything. When I try to log in I get this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/gflores/public_html/meetgerardoflores.com/wp-content/themes/hero/options.php on line 12

My website is Meet Gerardo Flores

Any suggestions???

    1. It is always useless to ask for "help" about errors that ONLY you can see when logging in or after being logged in...

    2. You can always connect to the server via FTP, delete the misbehaving theme folder and check out your site: it should automatically revert to the default theme. After that you can check with the theme author what's wrong with their code

    3. I can see your site: the top nav links work, the "read more" links are dead.

  • Lovemyth,

If you manage to log onto your site using FTP, most programs have a search feature where you can look for remote files. Search for the options.php file that the error suggests and then you can search for a way to fix it.

Here is a tutorial on how to log onto your site via ftp,
