Magento Theme Advice for Ecommerce Site
Hi All,
I am in the process of having my website transferred over to another hosting provider, as it is madly slow!! What I want to focus on next is redoing my site. Many, many people have told me (and I believe them) that my site looks very outdated and untrustworthy/unreliable.
So, instead of hiring a web design team to build a site for me for $800+ (that I don't have), I decided to stick with Magento, purchase a template and modify it to suit my needs. Here are the themes that I picked out:
Magento theme #39438 by Hermes
Magento Templates - Momentum
eCommerce - METROS - Minimalist Responsive Metro Style Theme | ThemeForest (in blue)
eCommerce - Colorline - Responsive Magento Theme | ThemeForest
The first one is my favorite. I think that would look best with my logo and branding, with some tweaking.
My other option is to try out this them called Ultimento, the "ultimate Magento theme." It has several extensions that I could use (e.g. One-Step Checkout, for conversions). It sounds very promising, but I can't find many reviews outside of their site to verify its worthiness.
