No Fool Like an Old Fool !! anyone want to help an oldie

I have a dilemma

On the face of it, it looks like I have to put it bluntly, "cocked up"

This may simply be my own perception and I would be grateful if any experienced warriors would give me their opinion and if at all possible a solution to my dilemma.

Here's the story.

I have been away from IM for quite some time as a result of a neck injury and consequently I let most of my websites die.
It is only recently I decided to "give it a go" again when it came down to just a couple of domains remaining. One such domain is Miss Money - I originally set this site up tongue in cheek for my wife- long story, but anyway, I decided to completely rehash it.

The timing of my decision came at the same time I received an email about a wso .. an auto blog basically. My Idea was to simply set this up and monetize it with adsense, thereby not requiring me to pay too much attention to it. I am unable to sit for long periods at my computer, so it made perfect sense at the time.

It wasn't long, before I started seeing revenue generated with adsense..only small, but revenue none the less. This got me thinking and I decided the niche (Money) was too broad and set up other sites in sub directories..thereby narrowing the niche down somewhat.

I now have 3 such sites ..all in sub-directories and none yet completed, but all getting visitors.

Part of my ongoing strategy is now of course to add good content and not rely solely on the auto blog. I decided to add an "About Page" ..ha ha .this is where my "cock up" comes in.

Not content with just writing an about page, I set it up as another website in an "about" directory...please don't ask me why I did this, I guess I had a senior moment . But it gets worse, I set it up using a new theme (wordpress) which I had designed myself using artisteer...well, it was just sitting there on computer doing nothing and I felt like playing.

Now I myself am impressed with the "about page" even if I do say so myself, (you may not be) so much so, that I think it would be better suited as my home page..but how can I switch this over to the root directory which has my original Miss money site ????? agggggggh :confused::confused::confused:

any suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated... if you think it would be okay to leave as is then great, but my gut instinct is it needs to be moved. But How :confused:

The original Miss money is Miss Money - Your Money News Resource and the about page is Miss Money

I apologise for a long and protracted post, but I felt it better if you could understand how it came about ...age related I guess.
