I have a simple question, but I couldn't get any answer on it. I hope someone can help.

I have a home page www.mainpage.com and then I have one category theme page www.mainpage.com/category/ Inside the category page, I have one article page www.mainpage.com/category/article/

I want to have strict silo linking structure. Can I link from my home page to the article page? Is that going to violate silo linking rules?
