Locating Wordpress saved post

I have question for the WP experts out there. When creating content WP saves automatically every so often. I know I have seen the list before that is real long with all of the auto saves. How do I find that saved list?

  • Hi Ya,

If I understand you well then you can see the list of your revisions

Posts >> Select any posts >> under that post click on edit posts >>click on Screen options on the right hand side corner >> enable revision options

And here you will be able to see the revisions block.Under the post editor.
Moreover if you want you can get this data from posts tablewith post_type = revision

    I hope this will help.

When you are on the "Edit Post" screen check the dropdown "screen options" near the upper right.
There's a list of checkboxes there:
    • Show on screen
      • Format
      • Categories
      • Tags
      • Featured Image
      • Excerpt
      • Send Trackbacks Custom Fields
      • Discussion
      • Slug
      • Author
      • Revision <---Make sure this one is checked

Lots of things appear and disappear mysteriously in the wordpress backend based on the "Screen Options" dropdown

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.
