Ok here is the short story. Friend has a flash based site from several years ago. I know enough of wordpress that I re-created her site as a wordpress site. (It was a basic design selling one product ) So what I did was I worked on the site on a domain that I bought to use to just create sites on. bobstestsite.com as an example. (not the actual site) So I have finished creating her site as a WP site. Now I need to upload it to her server that is hosting her existing domain. I have her FTP info and verified with the hosting company that I just need to remove everything in the "www" folder and put all the WP files in the "www" folder.

So I have a few questions...this is my first attempt at doing this and I am just helping a friend. I have the "online backup for wordpress" plugin on the new site. I have backed up her site which gives 2 files, a database file and a filesystem file. I have backed up the whole site via FTP as well. So if I just copy everything to her hosting account via FTP in the "www" folder, is that all I need to do?
SO basically I am looking for the "easiest" way to upload the new WP site to the hosting company. I am hoping just uploading everything via FTP will do the trick, but I am curious if WP is smart enough to make the internal changes as well. (IE right now the site was built on bobtestsite.com and all images are referenced to pull from bobtestsite.com/wp-content/uploads...etc. Will wpress go in and automatically change those references toe the correct domain.com/wp-content?
I cant be the first person to ever do this, create a site on one domain and then want to upload it on a different domain.
Can someone answer my questions and give me the easiest way to do it? I would be very appreciative!

(I would request not to get any responses that start with "If you dont know what your doin' then ya shouldn't be doin' it." Believe it or not I have gotten that several times before when mentioning helping a friend do this or that on this forum. Go figure since you only learn by doing and asking for help.
