It's strange, because on one of my websites image thumbnails aren't showing any more.

I haven't changed anything since yesterday and all was fine. When i checked my website this morning, i can see that image thumbnails not appears. Thing is that only thumbnails won't appear, but i still can access all my images directly. In media library i can see all images are fine.

My website is based on wordpress platfrom, it is hosted with hostgator.

It's url can be found in signature.

Any ideas? is this a problem with my theme or it's wordpress problem more likely? or it can be with hostgator problem?

    Check your FTP/File Manager to see if this file is there....

    Folder - /themes/Automobile/

    File - thumb.php

    Seems like thumb.php is missing or has been renamed...

      That is out there. It seems that timthumb.php script is making this problem. Mine just renamed as thumb.php

      Also i just updated to the latest version of that script and still the same problem. I don't know maybe wp super cache plugin must be making a conflict with this script. However i am using that wp super cache for a while now and only today this happened, so i am not sure if that could be a problem.

      I tried to deactivate and delete that wp super cache, but still the same problem...

    Hmm yeah it does exist...

    The next thing I would try to do is to replace....

    w=134&h=100&zc=1&q=80&bid=1

    with ....

    w=134&h=100&zc=1&q=80

      Well actually i can't find such line in my thumb.php file.

      EDIT: also the thing is that some of my oldest posts still showing thumbnails, example page - http://www.camarocarplace.com/catego...e-day/page/44/ , just not showing bigger thumbnail in the post body, if i click on one of these posts. So somehow i think it must be caching issue.

    It would be in your index.php file in your theme's folder....

      Still no such line in index.php

      I think i need to remove that script and make wordpress to make thumbnails for me. Any good ideas or sources how to do that?

      I found many other complaints about that timthumb and that it's outdated etc...

      EDIT: it seems it's working again, must be some major issues of this plugin...

    First thing to do in this situation would be to check your permissions, see if your physical file is in the directory, if it is, but you can't see your file, it's more than likely something to do with your hosting permissions.
