Hi everyone, I've begun working on a few videos. I found I suck at speaking in front of a camera but I am good at doing audios.
I need some images to explain a few segments in a few parts of a few of my videos. Other than that I am looking for how I should do my visuals. I thought I could do just words but that would be really boring and people think in pictures rather than in words so they will get more out of it with pictures.

I could just grab photos off of Google but it would probably make more sense if I grabbed photos from shutterstock or Istock but now that they have been raising the prices over the years I'd have to pay thousands of dollars just to do a few short videos I was giving away for free anyways.
I really don't want to pay that much.

Is there any other solutions? Is there any way to buy quality photos for under an dollar like in the good old days?

Might be best to use Powerpoint or Keynote (if a Mac).
You can come up with some good visuals by doing a slide show and talking.
If you don't know how to create Powerpoint/Keynote templates, there are some good ones over at graphicriver.net

Someone else will have to chime in about free photos, I don't use them, so I'm not sure of a good place.
Personally, buying them is really cheap from a stock photo site.
You don't need many, if any in a slideshow.

  • If you looking for some free photos do a google search for royalty free photos in quotes! That should help.
