How to build a website like Facebook?

Hello,

I have a site already that is not a social network. I now want to make a section of my site where my visitors can log in and it will be a social network more like facebook.

I have tried Buddypress and some other stuff but nothing I can find will make it more like Facebook.

Does anyone have any suggestions for plugins, or software? I am looking for something free. But let me know what you know.

    Not only WordPress and Buddypress, there are lots of SNS scripts, just google it.
    But it is difficult to make your site the same as facebook. You may need to hire somebody to customize the features for you.

    yes, search for free php script but it is really difficult to make your site same as facebook by using these ready made scripts. You have to use custom made script for it

    i designed one before and the my host has suspended coz it was sending thousands of emails and they think it was spam.. i till have the copy of that scrip in my hard disk let me know if you want with small $ since i am not using it now... or go to phpfoxdot.com it is ike 99 US dollars
