The proverbial apples and oranges... you want to compare a domain registrar (and occasional host) a content management system [CMS] and an online website editor!

They have absolutely nothing to do with each other, so they cannot be compared.

It depends on your level of knowledge, but in any case, my suggestion is Wordpress, currently the best CMS system in the world. It offers good functionality, good design (free and premium themes), plugins, simple maintenance, etc..

Among all those three, "Word press" is the best option to build a website. In Word press you will find different types of free plugins, which will make your work easier.

I completely agree with your suggestion. I'll certainly go with WordPress- the best CMS system for building a site because of its multitasking features like inbuilt SEO, plugins, multi variations functionality, ease of maintenance and many more.

Out of the three ways you mentioned I recommend using Wordpress for your site. Definitely not godaddy's website tonight...

For a small, simple site a website builder like Weebly or Wix is more than enough. However, there are downsides to using them. First, you won't be able to move your site to another host without completely building your site again from scratch. They will also put ads on your pages, unless you upgrade to a paid account and have several other restrictions as well.

Wordpress.com is good for a personal site/blog, but they don't allow any advertising on your site, so if you want to use Adsense or affiliate links you should choose another option.

The best option is to just sign up for a paid hosting account and create a website using an HTML editor (good ones are Website Design Software (XSitePro) or Web Design Software by Xara: Xara Web Designer) or use Wordpress. For hosting I use HostMonster - Web Hosting and Web Hosting & Domain Names - Doteasy.com and they are both reliable.

Hey godaddy is just a domain or hosting provider & wordpress is a CMS, where you can customize your website but if you wanted to create it offline, then you can try Adobe dreamweaver..this is one of the best website editor anyway.

Most hosts offer one click installs for Wordpress and you get a huge community around it, if you ever get stuck. Also, with all the available plugins out there you can build almost any functionality you want.

Totally agree with this! Hostgator has a very good support! They will guide you with the live chat support whenever you face challenge. Wordpress is best and it is easy to find tutorials and forums with tips and tricks if you are stuck anywhere.

Wordpress is the easiest. But it has security holes and upgrade traps. Not like microsoft where you need to invest $ but have to invest time to upgrade. Otherwise it may give you pain when you see security attacks and see your site at google in red. It has another issue, not easy to modify or add new business logic to meet your changing business requirements.

Drupal, I think, is the best. But it is not for the newbies.

Godaddy is a domain register where you can get a domain for a price and also there are many other domain register services available on Internet, you may search and compare them to find the best and lowest one.

Wordpress is a free content management system by using you can build your own websites and there are few other popular free CMS out there which are Joomla and Drupal but they are PHP based scripts if you need static HTML websites you can build them using a program like Frontpage.

In my opinion, I think its wordpress. Not because i'm using it, i just thought that for starters it is the best. Because it so easy to learn compared to joomla or drupal.

The best option is to buy a domain and hosting from bluehost, godaddy or hostgator (I find them the best at this moment) and install wordpress. If not then wix.com is a very good option.Good luck!

More advanced users might want to choose to use one of the so called CMS (content management systems) such as WordPress or Joomla that are much more flexible in terms of building a website this is both search engine friendly and easy to understand and use for website visitors
