How to make this sort of redirect page?

Hi all,

I am very curious to know how I can create this sort of redirect page.

http://www.trivago.co.uk

Trivago, a travel site if you click on any of the view deals you get what I mean as the consumer is redirected through a small filler page which says we are loading the page and has a loading bar e.t.c

I want to develop the same for my website, but just don't know how.

Any ideas?

  • This is one way to make this sort of thing.
    When a link is clicked some javascript will be called to open a new window and display your message / 'loading bar' animation. You can use a timer to keep this loading page showing for as long as you want then just redirect to the original URL of the link.
