Hey everyone, I've got a few questions regarding creating a nice looking flat ui design website. I'd like to spend some time on it and make it look really good. (Currently I'm using a wordpress site, which is nice, but you can tell its wordpress).

First off- Whats the easiest way to go about doing this? Grab some Flat UI Toolkits off of Designmodo, then design how you want everything to look in Photoshop. Then open that up into Silverlight and convert to HTML?

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

I am lost regarding your planned "steps".

The whole idea of having frameworks like the Foundation, Bootstrap (and everything based on it, including designmodo) is to eliminate the need of phtososhop and stuff like that.
Well, you can use such programs to create the necessary images... but other than that - WHY?

If you take a closer look at those frameworks, they offer a template (that comes with the basic CSS, JS and similar goodies), a grid based template... where you can just play with the elements to "design" your desired page. Of course, you MUST know html and css, otherwise you will be lost.

Oh, and there are even WP themes based on flat ui design... FYI

I can NOT recommend... since I have no idea what are your needs. Only ignorant, uneducated people "recommend" the same theme for everything

Just go to your favourite search engine and type "bootstrap themes" and/or "foundation themes" - depending on which framework you are interested in. Or both...

Don't settle just for the first 3... you will find exciting examples
