Wordpress Help!

I'm fairly new to wordpress.

If you take a look at www.ernypeibst.com, I can't seem to find a way to get rid of the comments at the bottom. Also I can't seem to get rid of the theme link in the footer / or change its font colour to make it look better.

If anyone has the knowledge to help me with these, it would be greatly appreciated!

  • The link in the footer should be in the file wp-content/themes/origami/footer.php

    When you edit the page, or post, in the dashboard there should be an option to "allow comments" if that does not appear, check the theme options setting and make sure "discussion" is checked

    • In the dashboard go to Pages ---> All Pages.
      Look for the page you created. Before you click on it look for the "Quick Edit" link.

      Click on that and look for Allow Comments and uncheck it.

  • You can edit your footer from here : wp-content/themes/origami/footer.php
    You can find option related option about comment..
  • In order to remove the footer link you have to pay the upgrade fee. If you remove the footer link without paying the upgrade fee you are violating the terms of use. When I upgraded it was a one time fee of like $5.

    Comments are controlled in the discussion settings

    Hey 3rnald0 , It's simplate text widget, you login wp-admin. go to widgets in Appearances.
    Edit or removing that widget if you want.
