Structure question, duplicate content..?

Hi,

I am setting up a review site that has various sub categories.

Some of the articles belong in more than one category, sometimes they can belong in 2 or 3 categories.

I can't get my head around how to structure the site.

Its about TVs.

The first level of menus is something like:

LED LCD PLASMA 3D

Then the second one might be:

32" 37" 42"

Then the third one might be:

A series B series

Then the fourth one is the actual reviews.

But if I have a TV that is an LED television AND 3D, where would I put that review ?!

And if I have an A series that is a 3D and a LCD where would i put that?

Really confused how to structure it.

Thank you.

P.S. I am trying to create a silo structure in Wordpress.

I would think you should only have the article in one place but you may link to it from different pages.

Thank you. How does that work with silos? I didn't think you should link from one silo to another?

Can anyone help? I've read loads but still don't know what to do when an article belongs in more than one category / silo...

Review sites are rarely organized based on the silo structure principle!

For organizing content for a review type of site... I wouldn't really care to have a perfect silo structure. Because it is way more important to make it searchable and cross-linked to make the visitor to click (finally) on one of the aff links

If it is a WP site, then yes, you can have a post in multiple categories (don't worry about the 'duplicate content' - G. is not that dumb, they know how WP works... plus, make the category archive pages to display only excerpts).

Another way to organize the content is to use categories AND subcategories; categories and tags... or all of them combined - just make sure you plan ahead a clear structure on paper (or mindmap software) for yourself, don't just create categories and tags on impulse...

If you were using only Pages... then your OP simply doesn't make sense: Pages don't have categories, so I don't see how your question regarding multiple categories has anything to do with your site.

Just about sums everything up, nothing is making sense to me.

My OP didn't mean "category" in the WP sense, just in the sense of how to structure the reviews.

Plus I've read so much about using pages only, posts only or a combination of the two that I'm more confused now than when I started.

Oh well, thanks for the advice anyway
