Just a Quick Feedback on my Site?

Okay I was wondering if this picture on my website fits in with everything, or if it looks good and goes good with everything? It's the Welcome to Rand Solar picture at the bottom of the page.

        Although it is a big fat cute generic logo, it does not fit in to me. But every eye is different, therefore your question is a matter of simple opinion

        To explain why it does not fit in my eyes.

        On your bottom left side you have 3 rollovers that display text (different fonts and sizes mind you). One rollover displays nothing. Another rollover displays a pic of real solar fans? Then the Welcome rollover displays a big orange cartoon type logo that has way too much orange. A cartoon logo is... well it's immature to me and screams that you did not invest in the whole site. This is just an opinion so don't take it to heart.

        Hope I helped. I am a solar freak BTW I am into lights, pumps, and DIY kits as a hobby.

          I definitely see what you mean, the logo does not look very professional. Is it too flashy maybe? And I agree it has too much orange. And yes those are "real fans" lol what did you mean? Would it look better if the RS in the logo was grey?

              Yeah I get what you mean, I was just trying to find a place to put that logo I guess. What kind of image or text do you think would look good there?

              Or maybe I could get a fiver gig to make an introduction video to the company?

              You already have a logo, why have another different one on the same page in the welcome section? It's not using your page space to its potential.

                      Well solar is fun stuff! My whole family dabbles in it. It is a great niche to get in I think. Prices lowering and plus the low end kits are really hot. You can look on ebay and see that. There are a lot of us DIY'ers out there and one thing we always need is parts, parts, and more parts! The kits are just a tease to get us addicted LOL. Anyway, good luck and I look forward to watching your progress in this venture!

                        Yeah it is cool stuff, I also sell the solar fans on ebay too. I was wondering if this would be a good idea? Get someone on fiverr to make a video saying things like "welcome to randsolar" and "we provide high quality solarfans" for an introduction video even if he's not part of the business. Or does this have to be something I need to do myself?

                Well, your welcome page is your home page. I assume you would want to toss out a welcoming pitch. Not a logo. The logo is redundant and useless as a welcoming factor.

    The site looks great. Love the design. I just noticed that the image below the slider (where the "CHECK OUT OUR FANS CURRENTLY ON SALE!" is located) is a bit far from it. Could it be placed a little closer to the slider coz it seems to create a gap more than an inch.

      Is there a way to stop the slider so it is actually possible to read what text is on it ?
      I absolutely hate sites where I start reading and then it switch slider before I have even had a chance finish reading it. Some sliders it is possible to stop it and read till you are ready.
      I really dont know how some site owners think. I get really angry and often leave at once.
      That´s my feedback...
