Please review my site design under development

Hi,

Someone is developing a site for me because I am really lousy with
layout, form, shapes, color etc. The site is on a temporary url:

I am asking for honest "like/not like" opinions of the design and if something is disturbing to the eye ( layout, form, shapes, objects, color etc).

I personally love the transparant content space with post titles, the font etc.

But I am asking myself: if the city should be replaced by something else, if all dark blue color scheme is suiting, if the RED text real-vampire is placed correct, if the eyes of the girl on the left looks like she is a zombie ( should not be zombie style).

I have been sitting for hours looking at it and I am quite stuck at the moment.

I am thinking of leaving it as it is and start putting the content up, what do you think ?
Any changes ?

    Adding some Images in your posts will give good result, but would be a part of adding posts. as of talking about the layout design, i think if you can rework on main menu, it can give much better result then it got right now

    You have a good start here but I see a lot of issues. First off, I have no idea what the site is about or used for. I suppose it would depend on how a user found your site as to whether or not this would matter but you should have some sort of short description as to what the site is for.

    The next thing is that the text and menu items are hard to read against the background. You might want to think about changing those.

    I would also get rid of the space between the title of the site and the main menu.
