Custom WP Theme Needed

I have a friend that is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and a true friend in every sense of the word. She is a teacher who knows nothing about the online thing, but wants to start a blog. I'm trying to go 'somewhat' out with it and get her a decent theme to start with. She's a total girly girl so it's got to be girly for sure, and she will want to talk about different topics surrounding being a teacher, being a woman, and various funnies kids have to say. I usually just use Artisteer for a quickie theme, but I want something a little more special for her since she is a good friend of mine. Anyone have any ideas where to get one at a decent price (I am not going ALL out on this after all lol) and that can make it look clean and professional (and girly) for her first blog? I'm kind of excited that she's jumping into the blogging game actually. And she has big plans for it so I'm excited for her. If anyone can let me know of a site or person and some rates and examples of their work, that would help out a ton.

The best way to go is to find a nice free theme and switch out the graphics to make it your own.

There are also premium themes...and you can do the same with those.

    Some examples...
Elegant Themes - Premium Wordpress Themes
    WooThemes|Premium WordPress Themes
WordPress Themes : Business WordPress Themes, WordPress CMS Themes
Buy Premium WordPress Themes & Templates | One Theme

There are more....just Google "premium wordpress themes".

Don't neglect free themes though either....just because they are free doesn't mean they all stink. There are MANY free themes out there that are just as good as some of the premium ones.

      Hi There,

Plenty of themes out there can just google or
      Wordpress.org has a variety.

Try Wordpress . org /extend / themes but these are free, so you and a lot of other people will have it too. (just take out the spaces I have to include them, because I can't put links in until I reach 15 posts.)

You can buy a licence for one from someone like
Template Monster . com (again take out the spaces) up to you whether you just buy the licence or the Unique Price up to you.

Another one is Thesis Themes or alternatively go to Elance
or somewhere similar and hire a programmer.

      Hope this helps
      Cheers
      Heather
