Wordpress outsourcing

Hi guys,

Hope I'm in the right section of the forum here, apologies if not!

I'm in the process of setting up a new venture and I've decided I need a little help with the Wordpress side of things. I've set up several sites before and I consider myself to be tech savvy, but it's not really my area of expertise and it's just taking me too long to get up and running.

Basically, it's a site where people will be able to browse through various categories and add digital products to a cart, then have them delivered to their inbox. I've spoken to someone on Elancer this morning and he suggested creating a gallery with a WooCommerce plug-in, and estimated that this would take around 3-5 hours of his time, providing that the plug-in was compatible with my theme (twenty eleven). Does this sound reasonable? It's my first experience with outsourcing technical tasks.

I've also read that Download Guard is a good tool for managing the whole sales system, from 'adding to cart' right through to the download process. Does this mean that WooCommerce isn't really needed though? We started talking about this route because I wanted to have a 'gallery' on my site that clearly organised and displayed the products. Ideally, I need an automated option that doesn't require me to send the digital products over when they've been purchased.

I'd be really thankful for any advice.

Thanks
