How did they add this filter to the website?

Hi, I really like the image filter they added to the main slider of this website: Shave Houston a gentleman's barbershop. How can I add this to my images with photoshop? I don't know what the filter is called but I really really want it. I like the vertical lines.

Let me know if you know what it is.

      This can be done from photoshop too, but this guy haven't did it on photoshop, he have used a line pattern using HTML/CSS

        If you look at the images individually (Firefox > right-click on page > View page info > Media tab), you'll see that the actual images have the vertical lines. So it was done prior to uploading them to the site.

        That said, you could probably make a similar effect using HTML5 Canvas, or Flash.
