Plugin/Script for A UNIQUE MEMBERSHIP Site (Your Advice)?

Hi everyone, I'm using Wordpress, and I'm trying to figure out which script/plugin to use to build my membership site? Here's my objective:

- A site that has 30+ Video/Audio files that go in no particular order. I want the member to be able to preview and download any video they want, BUT they can only download so many in a month/week (ex. 3 videos a week). I will add new content monthly.

- I figure build one page with all the video/audio previews, and when they click on the link, it will take them on the page to download the file. However they are restricted to so many downloads per week.

People may say "drip content" which I want to, but my issue is, what if the user wants a tutorial one week about playing pop chords, but they get a country chord one? I want them to be able to choose which videos files they like, but can't download them all at once.

Which plugin/script could I use to achieve this? I looked up s2member, amember, dap, wishlist, and wmpudev, and DL Guard, but I'm not sure which one can achieve this, or am I missing a plugin like instamember?

This is a little tricky, not because of the (3) restriction weekly, but because they can choose the 3 out of the 30.
You should contact all of these plugin owners (the one's you listed) and ask them specifically. I wouldn't "take a chance" and try one.

You might have to customize a member plugin to do that, or create an addon.

Have you considered just doing a pay-per-view?
This way they can choose from the 30 but only pay for what they want.
Several of those plugins can do pay-per-view easily.

I dont think DAP does it so the only work around is to just keep sending them videos until they pick the ones they like. S2member kind of does it, but its complicated imo, and I'm not sure if dlguard or instamember does it.

As for pay per view, I would, but the customers I have would probably just would purchase 1 video or complain at the prices, whereas a membership monthly to a wide range of videos would be more beneficial and better value for them.

DLGuard, (which is fantastic) doesn't do that.
I've never heard of any of those doing what your asking exactly.
Seems a little custom. I could be wrong but I've used all those plugins/softwares and have never seen any options like that.
You might talk to TipsandTrickshq who makes WP emember.(luv it!)
It doesn't do exactly what you want, but the source code is not encrypted like many of the others so it could be modified easily.
They might even do it for you for a fee, you'd have to ask.

Yeah I may have to email them. My main goal is not to linger around much longer and just get something going, so what do you thing is a good way to go about it?

I was thinking to just get DAP, and make all the post (about 30 of them + I will add about 5 every month), and just drip them every 2-5 days with a different tutorial. That way the user would have consecutive content. But I'm open to any better ideas you or any member on here may have.

It's kind of like rhapsody, where the user can download the audio/video's they want, but I dont want them to be able to download everything at once so they can quickly get refund and cancel. That's why I came up with the restriction/download limit.

Well you can't go wrong with DAP, it is a good product.
You may go that way (as you outlined) then be working on a way to fine-tune the selection/restriction.
