Hi I'm making up a web page to be used on the Mediatraffic network... and they only show a 750 x 550 window of your page.

So I want to make a web page that is 750 x 550 so there are no scrolling bars on the side and bottom.

How do I make a page that is 750 x 550 in Dreamweaver CS4?

You could create a table that size and put everything inside. Or if you know enough CSS you could create a container that size and put it all in there. CSS is a better route, less code, ect.

      Thank you.

Will either of these routes actually make the page 750 x 550 or would it just make sure that my content fits in that size (but the page would still be standard size and thus have scrolling bars)?

Ya, you can't make a page a certian size, you can only make a "container" such as a table with a given dimension. The easiest way would be to create a table with your dimensions and put everything you want inside that table.

Tables are some what out-of-date, but the only choice if you don't know CSS.

I would think, don't know the site your talking about, that if you did a table with no alignment, you should be fine. Keep the table top left, should work. Guess you could always test

Oh. I'm wondering then... I always get pop-ups on my computer and they are a smaller size. How do they make those?

A popup is actually a new browser window, and you can set the size of that browser window. It's a browser window with a web page inside.

        Does that help?
