Can anyone help me with Woo shortcodes please?

WEB DESIGN

I am attempting to do something that should be very simple, but I don't know how to format it properly. All I want to do is set 3 categories on the homepage in a particular order.

Here is the code I have that will set the 3 categories:
[product_categories number="3" columns="3"]

What I don't know is how to set the order.

Can anyone please help me?

I Think: you should add a field in the same table with field name is 'order_no' with value is number. Then you select categories order by order no desc/asc
