Best Wordpress Guides

Hi can anybody recommend some good reading material for building Wordpress sites?

I've searched online and keep finding half arsed articles. Does anybody know of any good WSO's? Decent developers or just some definitive guides that will be able to help me with following?

To give you all a better idea, I am looking at customising the AIT business theme here and I am having trouble with it at the moment as in a moment of naivety I expected it to come as it looked on the package:

AIT Themes Preview :: Businessfinder

Obviously this is not the case and my results so far are a far cry away!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

      Or you can check out the Warrior Special Offers section to see all those fantastic themes offered there - probably you can choose one that suits you.

      Also, there are tons of WP tutorials not only in the WSO section, but on YouTube to learn more about some customizations.

        Thanks for your advice.

        I have already chosen a theme that I am happy with, however the support isn't great and I think I need more help than they seem to be happy to dish out!

        I'm hoping someone will point me in the right direction of a good WSO - I know there are loads and loads of guides online and thats the problem - finding one that suits me and what i'm trying to achieve. I'm hoping someone might be able to offer me some examples of something helpful based on the opening post
