Using Wordpress Theme and OptimizePress at Same Time?

I have a Wordpress theme installed on our website. I want to use OptimizePress to turn a page on our website into a squeeze page, but I want to keep using our current theme on all pages except for the squeeze page. Is that possible?

  • OptimizePress 2 runs as a theme OR as a plugin - so, yes.

    • So if I own regular OptimizePress, I'm going to take a wild guess and assume I have to pay for OptimizePress 2, correct?
  • Yes, you'll need to upgrade to version 2.

    It's a completely different beast.

    • OK. I'll logged-onto their website now, and I don't see the price to upgrade just yet.

Any idea how much it costs to upgrade?
    • This page says OptimizePress is $97, but it doesn't mention "upgrading."

I'm assuming it's talking about the new OptimizePress.

Were you using the word "upgrade" loosely, as in, it's a whole new purchase, and not really an "upgrade?"

    • Thanks, I just checked out the website. It appears to be $49. Can that be used on a single page of a Wordpress site as a plugin without having to sacrifice my current Wordpress theme, like I can with OP2?
  • which version you use of optimize press ? if you use 2.0 you can do this via Page builder that is including in page editor.

    • I have the first version. It was a theme install.

I missed the opportunity to contact them to find out if I have to pay all over again for version 2. I left them an email.

If anyone knows whether people that bought the original version have to pay full price for version 2 or not, it would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

      And happy new year!
