Guys I am web and graphic designer. I designed a logo for my company. We are running this company from last 4+ years and have done successfully many of the designing work.
Now I have end up few days ago with the logo designing. I made my logo on the concept of 61 as my company name is 61Design Street. So, I have chose the given below logo. Can you please let me know how much do you like and what changes should I do in coming future for better customer response.

    I like it but I'm not sure that it represents what you do....the feather on the 61 makes me think of writers and not really of web design and graphic design.

      I agree - I'd dump the feather and replace it with a stylized "D S" or "d s" (for "design street").

      There is too much "extra stuff" in the graphic for my taste....from the sparkly "point" to the shadowed shield it seems a bit 'much'. But that's just me.

    As a design it's a nice work, but I'm not sure this type of logo suites for a graphic/web design service. Bit more less complex design would be better IMO.

    Yes, the later one sounds good, but the first one is not representing the nature of your business. Although your logo is very good and designed well, but being a graphic designer logo should be designed in colors.

      Not instruction - just my opinion. I am not a graphics artist in any sense of the word.

      You are in the design business so your choice is whether you are building brand or name awareness or displaying artwork as your logo. It's purely a choice.

      I think the name - 61 Design Street - is an elegant name. It's a name that clearly tells what the business is about (design). For that reason, if it were me I'd start with a rectangular or forward leaning 'street sign' design with "61 Design St." in an interesting font and embellish from there.

      Which is probably a plebeian idea from someone who can visualize designs but can't draw them for anything! Ignore me - I'll go away now:p

    Where's the colour? Are you intending to add it? If not, that grey is just not going to stand out at all especially when small.
