Making Waves with Splash

I've fallen in love with this WP theme:

Splash Theme | MyThemeShop

but I'd prefer to just have an HTML template.

Does anyone know if the above is available in HTML5 or if there's a theme that is verysimilar?

    You could try emailing the creator(s) and asking if you can have a HTML only version, most WordPress theme developers create themes in HTML/CSS only first as it's easier.

    Quick question, why would you prefer a HTML only version? Do you not like WordPress?

      Good idea, I'll try and do that.

      Why do I prefer HTML version? Basically, cos I've never got around to learning about Wordpress I really should though, there are sooo many great plugins
