Is there a WordPress plugin that can do this?

Hello Warriors,

Suppose I have a site where people can post ebooks for download upon payment? The sellers put up a Pay via PayPal buy button that the visitors can click on and pay to the seller directly to his PayPal account? However, I want to be able to track how many sales the seller has made. Is there a WordPress plugin that does this?

    I think you have to add this functionality by fresh coding for your site. Get some freelancer to do it quickly. I would recommend CodeClerks.com for getting the job done reliably and cost effectively. Programers of every language and development platform are available there.

      If you are not using any plugin to sell ebooks, then you have to code the whole tracking process. You need to create a few DB tables as well to keep track of sellers, ebooks & sales.

      OR I would recommend using a e-commerce plugin or something similar that supports multiple sellers, that will already have the feature to view sales of each seller. I have not used such plugin, but this is an idea of what you should look for.

        I'll need to look for something that ensures that the seller is paid directly & instantly into his/her PayPal account. Refunds are handled by the seller too that way. I just want to track how many sales were made per listing in a given period.

      As for your initial question: what you want is a selling platform (like Clickbank, JVZoo, DigiResults, Zaxaa etc.) - and such huge projects are NOT for WordPress. You are thinking in the wrong direction...

        I was unaware of the no-bump rule (despite being on the forum so long), but I guess commonsense should be my best friend. Thanks for that.

        These selling platforms process the payments. I don't want that. What I want is for the sellers to get paid directly into their PayPal accounts. I just need to be able to track how many sales they've made.

    Hello I think you need to hire some freelancer php developer to do this. If you need some simple add to cart plugins then there are many free add to cart plugins are available in free or in low cost.

    One thing that you would need to really bed down is the generation of dynamic paypal buttons. If you leave these as straight html (without encryption) you can get into real trouble with fraudsters.

    There's a woocommerce product vendor extension that allows sellers to sign up and upload their own products. The payment button is made for them and you can track the sales and even take commission from them for selling on your site. Pretty cool plugin.
