WP template or theme request

Can you point me to a template or theme which I could easily customize to produce something like the site below?

I know I could code it from scratch but I'm trying to avoid that.

Any assistance appreciated.

  • Here is one kind of similar, but it doesn't have that left-hand navigation. That type of thing isn't done much anymore:

    • Matt,

You're correct about it being uncommon. Not only is there the left nav menu but it controls the main image - when you hover a menu item the big image changes - hence my difficulty finding an easy way to do it.

Your suggestion is worth looking at.

I was wondering if the Ubermenu plugin would give me that effect.

  • I use Thesis theme on most of the websites we design. Very powerful and lots of online tutorials out there to do pretty much anything you want.

    • I generally go to themeforest or such like and adopt the theme that most closely matches my requirements. But this time I can find nothing near.

You are probably wiser - becoming familiar with one quite versatile theme.
