Need Help with web design and softwares

Hey guys its my first post in this forum !! and i would like to ask a question cuz i am so confused.

now i am learning photoshop (becuase its fun) i didnt take it so serious yet , i am studying computer science and i want to star learning web developing and design. so i want to know what is the steps? should i first learn photoshop or first html,php,and java script?

and what the softwares i will need to get? because i saw that people say i will need.

adobe photoshop,illustrator , edge animate , fireworks and dreamweaver.
what does edge animate and fireworks do and what is the differnce between them , and are they imporant? and do i need anything else? thanks in advance.

    If you are very beginner to this field then you need to learn photoshp and then start learning HTML, CSS, Javascript and the last start PHP. I also learn all these things in the above mention sequence. Photoshop and PHP need more and more practice. You can learn HTML and CSS from w3schools.com and can learn PHP from php.net.

    You would be better advised if you decide which task in web design you want to accomplish first ans start there. Learn and master one element at a time.
