I have a video that I am trying to put on my website and I would like it to be just a play button on the video, but currently the video has the file name, edit, help, etc around it and would like to remove that from viewers. It is a .mov file and currently it runs on my computer in adobe flash player. Can anyone give me any suggestions on what to do. I am so lost here!

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.

smeteser, I would suggest to try uploading it to Youtube, using their crop tools and then redownloading it.

You can even use a youtube downloading program to download it as a converted file in FLV, MP4, or MPEG, depending on which program you use to download it.

If you are unfamiliar with putting video on your site I highly recommend using a site like YouTube, or Vimeo to host your video and then use the simple embed code.

HTML5 is not fully supported across all browsers and can be buggy at times. As well as any self hosted solutions if you do not do it correct (properly encoded MP4, OGG versions etc..)

When having a video is important it's best to make sure it works for as many as people as possible, and those 2 services will accomplish that across all devices.
