Need help with my wordpress site

Hi,
I am having issues with my "Home" category appearing twice on my site but only once in the category list in my dashboard so I cannot delete it.

On the site im building I have a defualt home page (the one you cannot delete in dashboard), this appears in my dashboard, however the second one does not yet I have 2 Home categories on my site when you visit it.

Could someone please help? Extreme frustration!

  • Could it be something gone haywire with your theme?

  • Probably have a "page" called Home in WP under pages and another one that is being added from your header.php file. Temp remove the one under "Page" and see if you have two still

  • You need to give the category name on your home page (index.php). For this you edit the index.php writing a query for posts display. If your problem not solve then goto en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/hiding-double-home-page-getting-rid-of-no-categories-tab
    its will help you.
  • May be you have created two different pages with same page name, review it again.
