Website Open DNS error: Website unavailvable

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble with my new website (Software 4 You - Home)

I can see it fine on my mobile but when I try to access it on my PC I takes me to the Open DNS search screen (You tried to visit Software 4 You - Home, which is not loading.)

It then does a search for "Software 4 You" and obviously my website does not appear there.

I have recently made a DNS change and I was told to wait 24 hours by my hosting company. It has now been over 48 hours yet I still cannot see it. My host can visit the website fine so i'm a little confused.

Can everyone else see the website okay?

I have tried clearing my cache and using different browsers but nothing helps.

thanks

I can see it, it's working. You'll see it soon, dns zone needs to be refreshed by your provider.
Here's handy tool, it might come useful https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/www.software4you.net. It'll show where domain has been propagated, but it's not always 100% correct.

        Flush your dns.

If your laptop is windows based run the command prompt as administrator and type

        ipconfig /flushdns

Just tried that and it hasn't mad a difference. Should I restart for the changes to take effect or isn't that necessary?

            What browser are you using?

For example Chrome has its own dns cache so in order to clear it you will need to type

            chrome://net-internals/#dns

in the address bar and then clear the host cache.
