Is blogger not an good option for web design ?

    Blogger is fine for a personal or just blogging. If you want to design a website around a blog it is horrible, far too limited, and you could lose your site there at any time.

    I'd say you need to move to WordPress. Blogger have many limitations.

    I would prefer wordpress much more than blogger.
    It is much more powerful and flexible.
    you can try to use a suitable wordpress theme.
    there are a lot on Wordpress.org.
    The one I like is WordPress › Cubby « Free WordPress Themes.

    Exact!, if you want to have full control with css, codes, then go with Wordpress as I did. Blogger has some limitations thus you couldn't edit some parts on blog that you want.

    Blogger are effective but if you are sharing some content over it but if you want to create store and online business, website is important.

    Yes i agree with you that blogger have limitations. I personally use wordpress and also suggest wordpress for you. Wordpress is easy to edit, easy to manage admin panel and easy to manage your content . There are many plugins that help you to publish your article with different style and format.
