Downgrading Wordpress

Hey

I just installed WP 2.6.1 on a fresh domain and it turns out that one of the plugins I use most doesn't work. I need to downgrade but I don't know if there is a way to do this without delting the database and starting from fresh... I don't know if the database structure has changed?

Anyone know if just replacing the files on the server will do the trick (I suspect not!) or should I delete the database and reinstall again properly?

  • From 2.5 to 2.6 there are database changes. You are going to need to delete the database, and overwrite the core files.
