Hi guys

I know many marketers here are using wordpress with a specific theme to build sales/squeeze page and run product promotion, jv invitation, list building campaign ..etc

Will be really appreciated if you guys let me know what you don't like/ like with your current wordpress theme?

Do you have any disadvantage or issue when using that theme? If so, what are they? too complicated with a lot of unnecessary features, too expensive,, or just because it can't solve 1 specific requirement ??

Because after years working as an internet marketing guy, i have just decided to build a fresh new wordpress theme with a lot of unique features for internet marketers. That's the reason i want to hear from this community, from all nice guys here i had chance to know and work with.

Thanks a lot for your support !!!

DK Long

If I were you, I'd look at the features of some of the most popular WP themes used by IMers, and see if you can make improvements from there.

A few that come to mind are Optimize Press, Thesis or LeadPages.

Editable templates are good- quick loading posts/pages- built-in SEO features- appearance customization. That kind of stuff.

    Good luck!

I think the most useful feature would be to allow variations of header height from within the theme control panel, the option to change all the colors and as many variations of the basics as possible.

A "very" dynamic layout control will be great - I mean the theme layout can be re-arranged and made many different theme layouts (almost ANY layout that user can imagine). And this tool has to be very user friendly, like visual drag and stretch, drag and move layout editor, if this tool is not overly user friendly, it will kill the whole point of it.

Next option would be to add various graphics, logo, basically theme design stuff to the layout just made.

Thanks mate for your good suggestions. We are still investigating an unique drag & drop feature for IMers only and will have ETA for it shortly

Regarding of graphics, we are also building a lot of graphic packages as skin add-on for our theme so you can download & activate just in minute.

Any other idea you have kindly let me know

          Thanks so much

You are welcome. The base of this idea is to allow IMer to learn to use 1 theme only and build wide variety of themes (sites) with this them alone.

I will let you know if I come with more ideas.

I'm using iThemes Builder. I like their Layout feature, and the fact that they force child theme use. I kinda like their Widget Content feature. Shortcode use for code integration is fine with me. In my opinion they've got a bit too much HTML markup going on.

This is from a site builder's perspective. If you're trying to make easy theme for average users, obviously this is not the stuff you should care for.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Thanks for letting me know. Do you have any benefit when using their shortcode with code integration?

Our product will be built with clean bootstrap so the markup will be less. We want to make it super easy to use for non-technical IMers but will focus on helping them from setting up simple pages to high converting SALES FUNNEL configurations built-in

Let me know if that will work for you?

      Thanks a lot
