For my site my static pages I do not want people to be able to comment. It is for an offline business so it would not look good. However I do want to be able to make pages where people would be able to comment. They would basically be hidden pages that I could communicate with each of my clients. I would give each page a number for each client then we could talk back and forth on them.

But for this to happen I need to be able to selectively add pages with comments. Obviosly I could not do this with posts as everyone would see!

Are you using wordpress? If so, go edit the page/post you would like to, then at the very top you see the option "Screen Options". Click that and check the box for "Discussions". This will display the Discussion pane at the bottom. Scroll down until you find the Discussion pane. There you will see a checkbox to allow/disallow comments on that specific page/post.

If that doesn't work, then your WordPress theme doesn't support that feature. (aka the developer didn't know what they were doing)

You will need to contact the theme developer or PHP coder that is familiar with WordPress.
