Need some constructive opinions on my new website.

It's the first time I've ever used Magento for an online store. I can't decide if I really like it or not. If there is a certain store template that you like better, please let me know. I'm also debating on if the whole idea behind opening this store was worth it and how/where I could promote it.

  • Nice but check the footer - "© 2008 Magento Demo Store. All Rights Reserved." and the title!
  • Seems OK, but lacks visual pop.
    Your logo image could use a redo. The font you used for "eBooks" looks like the word was added as an afterthought
    All that gray with green is pretty sleepy.
    Also, you really HAVE to include descriptions for each of the ebooks. Those are all sales pages, but there's no selling going on.
  • First thing that struck me was WOW a $1? Perhaps you should use that as a selling point and make it stand out. Even a title and URL change might be good.
  • Your buttons at top need to show up better and personally I'd add more description for each title . Other than that, it seems to me that you have a workable and working site for the web to see. If you are ready for links I'd like to link to your pages from
