Any advice on site structure?

I was thinking of putting a squeeze on site.com
and a blog on site.com with articles being site.com/article-name

the 'home' button at the blog could link to site.com (which is a squeeze page).

what do you recommend?

site.com = squeeze
blog.site.com = blog
site.com/blog = blog?

I'd go with both squeeze and a blog (wordpress) on site.com

And with seo traffic and 2.0 traffic would go to site.com/article-1

squeeze/optin on .com is 100% mandatory for me to get 60-70% CTR!

or maybe squeeze above the fold and under the fold continuing with a blog?

thanks for your replies! I look forward to your wisdom and understanding!

    If you are using WordPress, just import your squeeze page into a custom WordPress page and have that as the home page and let the blog posts be site.com/postname

    ...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

      Thanks for the promptitude.

      Is it possible for the squeeze page to look completely like a squeeze page (i.e: no header, sidebar, footer, menu, just a pure high-ctr squeeze)?

      Will start work (on stizma.com)

    Hi
    For your squeeze page add this at the very top of the code
    <?php
    /*
    Template Name: Front Page
    */
    ?>

    The template name can whatever you want it to be such as home page,custom page or whatever you want. Upload the squeeze page to the wordpress theme folder of the theme that you are going to use. If the file is .html you will need to rename to .php file extension.

    Once you have uploaded the file, log in to your wp-admin and create a new page, name it home page or what ever you want then from template menu drop down select the custom template that you just uploaded and then save your changes.

    Next create a new page and name it blog, leave the default template setting as they are and save your changes.

    Next go to settings/reading and check the front page displays a static page. Then select the custom template you uploaded as the home page template and the blog page template as the blog and save your changes and you are finished.
