Need to A Page Where People Can Upload Files

Hi guys,

Wondering if you could help. I need to put a page up on my boyfriend's site where people can upload files. He mixes and produces music and so the files he gets from people are really big and the only way he could receive them is if we had an upload bit on the website (or through post which defeats point).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You might want to consider using FTP for this. If you setup a password protected FTP sight on your server, then you can pass the password to they people that you want to get the files from, they can upload into a protected area of your webserver.

    This way only people you want to can move files to your webserver and not have it open to the world....

    If the webserver hosting account has cpanel, you should be able to setup a password protected FTP area fairly easy and FTP software is cheap and some is even free. The software is easy to use... If your music people are supper newbies to computers, you could write a very simple tutorial and have it on your site that takes them step by step through the upload process.
