Site + eCover "vintage" design

Hi Warriors,

Despite a lot of research I can't find a proper site theme not too image-heavy that would still have a medieval/fantasy look and feel. They all seem to be made for gaming sites and I'd need to create a library.

Something like the attached image would be great. And by the way, if you know where I can find customizable ecovers designs like this, I would be very happy.

--> As per the forum rules, it's not a job request though, just can't find the proper keywords to a successful online search, I'm not a native english speaker. So far medieval, fantasy, library, vintage, books didn't return much useful results, maybe I missed the proper term(s)? How would you label/tag this kind of theme/design as a professional designer?

Thank you for your attention and help!

I am thinking that gaming templates might be the closest you will find. And most templates could be edited. Why not a gaming template and make it into what you want?

On a side note, you want a fantasy template that is not heavy with images, you might be asking for too much. How to get that look without too many images?

Other option would be to pay a designer to make it for you.

Actually a quick Google, shows all kinds of fantasy website templates. You've checked all those?

As for the ecover, why not make your own? Probably could find the backgrounds on photo stock sites, then find a font that is similar, to create your own. No?

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I checked everything search engines returned, but sometimes we're missing the obvious when overthinking something
Well all the gaming template I checked have some kind of fighting/weapon -and always dark- theme and I find it not too suited for a library. And it might not appeal non gamers.

As for the ecover, I have a few templates I tried to edit but there's a steep learning curve with the tools and here also, I might have missed something more obvious.
So many things to do on your own to have something up and running. And that doesn't mean it's good looking

You need to leave a thread and in the desired forum section, click the New Thread button on the top left (same spot than "post reply").

Edit-- maybe you need a minimum amount of posts to be able to create a new thread.
